Himantoglossum hircinum (close up)

The dutch name is bokkeorchis (goat orchid). It smells like a goat. Look at the magnificent lower petal. It can be as long as 5 centimeters!

Ophrys holoserica

Late Spider-orchid (hommelorchis). This rare orchid disapeared from The Netherlands. There is a great variety on patterns on the lower petal. This is genetically not yet explaned.
